About this opportunity:

WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA), with support from the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, is seeking accredited RACGP general practices to deliver after hours services in priority locations across Western Australia.

Perth South PHN Priority SA3 Locations:

• Mandurah
• Melville
• Armadale
• Gosnells
• Rockingham
• Kwinana
• Fremantle
• South Perth
• Cockburn
• Serpentine/Jarrahdale
• Belmont/Victoria
• Canning

To ensure optimal service coverage, proposed after hours services should be located outside the same SA2 area as an existing Medicare Urgent Care Clinic. The initiative will utilise existing facilities and offer routine GP appointments during after hours, covering services such as diagnosis, treatment, screenings, vaccinations, mental health support, family planning, referrals, chronic disease care, and non-urgent illness management.

Successful providers will extend current hours by a minimum of two hours per proposed day per week during the after hours period (Fridays after 6pm, Saturdays after 12pm and Sundays) with qualified staff including a registered GP, nurse and reception staff to deliver face-to-face and Telehealth services as appropriate.
