Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Workforce Development Initiatives
About this opportunity
WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified providers to deliver one or more alcohol and other drug (AOD) workforce development initiatives across Western Australia.
The opportunity aims to strengthen capability across the specialist AOD workforce, general practice, the Aboriginal health workforce and the broader primary care workforce. Initiatives may include evidence-informed training, clinical supervision, learning resources and other culturally safe workforce development activities.
Respondents may propose one or more initiatives and are not required to address the full scope of the opportunity. Initiatives may have statewide reach or target particular regions, workforce cohorts or streams, using delivery approaches appropriate to the intended participants.
Successful initiatives will create sustainable learning assets and strengthen workforce capability to support improved access, service quality, cultural safety and integration across the WAPHA AOD Program and the broader WA AOD sector.
