WA Voluntary Assisted Dying Approved Training

GPs and nurse practitioners are welcome to attend VAD training workshops scheduled for March.

The Statewide Care Navigator Service for Voluntary Assisted Dying is hosting a training workshop opportunity at Peel Health Campus on Saturday 18th March, for any eligible medical or nurse practitioners who are considering doing the WA Approved Training for VAD.

The aim of the workshop is for practitioners from regional and outlying areas to undertake the online training together, with dedicated time and in a supportive environment with other like-minded practitioners. You will also have access to representatives from the Statewide Services – VAD Care Navigators and VAD Pharmacy – along with an experienced VAD practitioner, who will all share different perspectives for your consideration when working in VAD.

Attendees will need to have access to the WA VAD Approved Training prior to attending so should seek this now. There will be future opportunities to attend VAD training workshops in 2023.

Date: Saturday, 18 March 2023

Time: 8:30am – 4:00pm

Location: Peel Health Campus
