GP Training for ME/CFS and long COVID: Assessment and diagnosis

In this first of two webinars for GPs and other registered primary care practitioners, Dr Mark Donohoe unpacks his approach to assessment and diagnosis of ME/CFS. Dr Donohoe will review current diagnostic criteria, introduce the concept of “resuscitation of the patient”?and outline?how he applies his unique insights from decades of experience to long COVID. Dr Donohoe will also explore how to organise your practice to best assist patients with energy-limiting chronic illnesses such as ME/CFS and long COVID.

By the end of this webinar you will be able to:

  • Investigate presenting signs and symptoms, including order appropriate test
  • Apply diagnostic criteria to patient data, to identify a case of ME/CFS or Long Covid
  • Communicate findings from history, physical examination and tests to a patient
