Curing Hepatitis C in Primary Care

Treatment with direct acting antivirals is easier than ever. Increasing HCV treatment in primary care settings is crucial to achieving HCV elimination in Australia by 2030.

ASHM presents a course is for GPs, other medical practitioners and authorised nurse practitioners prescribing or intending to prescribe S85 direct-acting antiviral medication for HCV in primary care settings.

The training will be facilitated by Dr Claire Italiano, Infectious Diseases Physician, Royal Perth Hospital and Dr Wendy Lawrance, Addiction Medicine Specialist, Fresh Start GP Clinic, Perth.
