CLOSED: Peer Support Capacity Building – Organisation

About this opportunity:

WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) is seeking to commission an organisation or partnership to achieve the following outcomes:

  • Enhance the awareness and uptake of existing peer support activities within a community for consumers, their families, carers, and friends.
  • Increase capacity and capability of existing peer support organisations to provide their services.

To achieve these outcomes the commissioned provider will auspice a small grant funds program to eligible peer support groups, for eligible activities that support their capacity and capability and increase their access to at-risk consumers experiencing depression and/or suicidality, their families, friends and/or carers.

The successful service provider must be able to plan and administrate the grant funding, and record and report on how the funds have been used.

The provider will be required to prioritise focus locations in the SA3 regions of Swan, Armadale, Bunbury, Manjimup, Goldfields, Esperance, Mid-West and Kimberley.

Specifically, the funds for this activity are directed to the organisational capacity of peer support groups and is designed to complement a separate capacity building activity for peer support workers (RFQ832)

Services are to be delivered until 30 June 2026.
