GP Peer Group Learning – Managing Suicidality and Depression in Primary Care – Metro
Background:
WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) is seeking an experienced provider to deliver a GP led, case-based peer learning program focused on improving how GPs in metropolitan Perth support patients experiencing depression and suicidality. This opportunity is ideal for organisations with strong clinical expertise, a proven ability to engage local GPs in metro settings, and experience delivering practical, relevant learning that reflects the realities of primary care.
The program aims to support general practitioners to build confidence and clinical capacity in managing patients with mild to moderate depression and suicidality in primary care. It also aims to contribute to improved health outcomes in Perth North and Perth South by strengthening professional knowledge, peer connection, and awareness of local and state-based support services.
