GP Peer Group Learning – Managing Suicidality and Depression in Primary Care – Country WA PHN
Background:
WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) is seeking an experienced provider to deliver a GP led, case-based peer learning program focused on improving how GPs in Country WA support patients experiencing depression and suicidality. This opportunity is ideal for organisations with deep clinical expertise, strong rural and regional networks, and a proven ability to engage local GPs in practical relevant learning.
The program aims to support general practitioners to build confidence and clinical capacity in managing patients with mild to moderate depression and suicidality in primary care. This initiative aims to contribute to improved mental health outcomes in regional communities by strengthening professional knowledge, peer connection, and awareness of local and state-based support services.
