This activity coordinates and trains practitioners from relevant agencies and community members to provide cultural healing to Aboriginal men, women and families with a focus on mental and spiritual wellbeing of Aboriginal families.

This program delivers evidenced based alcohol and other drug treatment and support services including direct counselling, advice, advocacy and referral services to clients and their families. This program is delivered by an appropriately skilled workforce.

Youth specific alcohol and other drug treatment services within the East Pilbara for the underserviced 8 – 14 year old cohort who are engaging in, or at significant risk of problematic drug use. Youth engagement workers and a child clinical psychologist work with the young person and their families, schools and support workers to provide intensive counselling support and to find constructive alternatives to drug and alcohol use.

This outpatient outreach service provides case management focusing on problems that underly drug and alcohol addiction and relapse prevention. This service increases access rates, maximising the number of people receiving evidenced based drug and alcohol treatment interventions and management. This service has an open-door approach to facilitate referral pathways into cost effective moderately intensive treatment and intervention programs which reduces demand on GPs and hospital emergency department. Therapy sessions can be either one-on-one, group sessions, outreach visits or via telehealth. This program also provides the opportunity to strengthen and support community resilience and capacity by addressing antisocial drug related behaviours.

It provides an immediate response and has the flexibility to allow the service to be responsive at the time when the clients need the service the most (which is afterhours) and also support the local hospital and community needs.
