Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) for Clinical, Medical, and Executive Staff in Aged Care

This session will provide an overview of the Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) process, available support services, the individual’s VAD journey, and the mandatory responsibilities of health professionals.

It will also explore lived experiences from the past three years since VAD became a legal end-of-life option in Western Australia, with a focus on its impact on aged care homes.

All clinical, medical and executive staff in residential aged care are invited to attend.
