Dementia Australia - symposium and masterclass: Quality Dementia Care

Professor Dawn Brooker is highly regarded as a global expert on the effective implementation of person-centred dementia care. Dawn developed the VIP’s care framework used internationally to assist organisations assess the extent to which their practice is person-centred.

The masterclass is an interactive half day workshop. Participants will work through a range of exercises to assist them to apply the VIPS framework in reflecting upon how person centred their organisation is and identifying areas of strength and those requiring development. All participants will receive a workbook as well as having access to ask scenario based questions of Dawn.

This practical masterclass is specifically run for managers and healthcare professionals responsible for the implementation of the new Aged Care Quality Standards
