This webinar offers an introduction to the VAD Statewide Navigator Care Service and how Health Professionals can access their support.

Designed for all registered Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Professionals providing direct patient care.

Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) will become a legislated choice for people in Western Australia from 1st July 2021. VAD is intended to provide people with another choice at end of life and after progressing through a detailed request and assessment process, allows an eligible person to legally access medication that will cause their death. The term ‘voluntary assisted dying’ emphasises the voluntary nature of the choice of the person and their enduring capacity to make this decision.

This webinar offers an introduction to the Voluntary Assisted Dying Statewide Navigator Care Service and how Health Professional roles can access their support in the provision of direct patient care.
