Good Care for Mental Health Consumers in Emergency Departments Workshop
Many people in Western Australia go to a hospital Emergency Department (ED) to receive mental
health care and some return to ED many times.
The Department of Health’s Mental Health Unit invites you to a workshop to share your views
about ways to improve care provided to people before, during and after an ED visit for mental health
reasons. The workshop will be run in partnership with Consumers of Mental Health WA and include
presentations on what we have found out so far.
