Giving lungs life: Pulmonary rehabilitation in lung disease

Research shows Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) is one of the most effective tools we have to manage chronic lung disease. PR has been shown to reduce breathlessness, fatigue, anxiety and depression whilst improving exercise capacity, emotional function and patients’ sense of control over their condition.

But what’s the evidence for PR? What is the role of PR in optimising function? How do programs work and how can your patients access them?

To mark World COPD Day 2021, Lung Foundation Australia invites you to register for our next Lung Learning event for health professionals. In this free, 1-hour CPD session, hear from our duo of PR experts on the above questions and more, including:

  • PR: Why and how?
  • Optimising uptake and engagement
  • Innovations in PR
  • Maintaining the benefits of PR
