Compassionate Communities forum

Compassionate Communities Australia’s purpose is to build the capacity of Compassionate Communities across Australia in their endeavours to enable people to care, die and grieve supported by their community.

Compassionate Communities Australia recognises and acknowledges the many individuals and organisations that have promoted Compassionate Communities over the last ten years. The aim is to bring together all of this excellent work to date, and build on it together, with a focused and strategic approach for the next 10 years and beyond.

This forum will explore how we can work together to affect social and system change in the short and medium term with a focus on: 

• Advocacy and policy development
• Research and promoting the evidence
• Building partnerships
• Education and development of resources
• Establishing community led programs
