Burn Management Program for GPs

RACGP WA, in partnership with the Fiona Wood Foundation,
presents a multidisciplinary and immersive workshop in paediatric and adult
burns. 

Designed for GP Fellows, this small-group workshop covers
the assessment and management of paediatric and adult burns.

This workshop provides a comprehensive update on identifying
the severity of burns and understanding the appropriate management, including
the assessment of the burn wound, the initial care and correct first aid, the
appropriate dressings to use and knowing when to refer or seek additional
advice.

This program is endorsed by Prof Fiona Wood and is developed and facilitated by Sharon Rowe, Clinical Nurse Consultant, State Adult Burn Unit, Fiona Stanley Hospital.
