Curing Hepatitis C in Primary Care - Karratha

A free, interactive workshop to support GPs role in curing hepatitis C. The update will focus on case finding, testing, patient assessment and treatment of hepatitis C infection in primary care settings. Learning objectives include:

• Identify priority populations for hepatitis C testing
• Interpret test results and diagnose hepatitis C appropriately
• Assess for liver fibrosis and other comorbidities
• Communicate information confidently to actively engage individuals in decisions about their treatment and care
• Initiate treatment, monitor and follow-up according to the recommended guideline

Accreditation: 4 Cat 2  RACGP QI&CPD points.
