My Health Record: Your health in your hands
By the end of 2018, every Australian with a Medicare or Department of Veterans Affair card will have a My Health Record, unless they actively choose not to.
Having a My Health Record means that a summary of a person’s important health information like
– Current conditions and treatments
– Medication details
– Pathology reports or diagnostic imaging reports can be digitally and securely stored in one place.
My Health Record allows you to be involved in your healthcare and to be a better advocate for your health. My Health Record allows you to take control of your health information and be involved in creating change together and shaping the future of the Australian healthcare system.
As part of the Social Impact Festival, you are invited to attend a FREE information session on My Health Record run by WA Primary Health Alliance on the following date:
Where: Room G42, Michael Chaney Lecture Theatre (in UWA Business School) University of WA – 35 Stirling Hwy, Crawley WA 6009
