My Health Record

We work with general practices to help them increase their usage of My Health Record to benefit their patients, particularly those most at risk of poor health outcomes.

What is My Health Record?

My Health Record is a secure online summary of a patient’s key health information, keeping everything together, all in one place.

My Health Record brings together health information from patients, their healthcare providers and Medicare.  This will make their medical conditions and treatments, medicine details, allergies, and test or scan results, readily available when they most need it.

Healthcare providers, like doctors, specialists and hospital staff, may be able to access My Health Record when they need to, including in an accident or emergency.

Health information can be viewed securely online, from anywhere, at any time – even if the patient moves or travels interstate.

It’s the patient’s choice to have a My Health Record or to permanently delete it at any time.
