WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) is pleased to present its Annual Report 2016/17 which highlights our activity and achievements in our second year of operation.

WAPHA operates WA’s three Primary Health Networks, which are an integral part of primary healthcare. The alignment of WA’s three PHNs under one organisation affords a once in a generation opportunity to place primary care at the heart of WA’s health system.

Our commissioning and engagement activities have been instrumental in operationalising a range of Federal Government policy measures which include both state-based and local initiatives.

The 2016/17 Annual Report reiterates our commitment to engaging meaningfully with general practice in our endeavours to strengthen frontline service for the benefit of patients and sustainability of primary care.
