Perth North feedAustralia Information Session 2
March 13 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm
feedAustralia offers early childhood education and care providers a free and seamless approach to improving nutrition and health education for children.
Developed through a partnership with the University of Newcastle, Hunter New England Population Health and Healthy Australia, to provide early childhood education and care providers with a free and seamless ‘business as usual’ online menu planning tool, built and trialled specifically to integrate with the Federal child care subsidy system. The feedAustralia program will be available to all early childhood education and care providers at no cost from 1 March 2018.
Join researchers and nutritionists from the University of Newcastle and Hunter New England Population Health to learn:
• How feedAustralia supports population health goals and priorities
• How feedAustralia can drive and translate expert nutritional knowledge into everyday ‘best food selection’
• How feedAustralia’s online menu planning tool works – its features, competencies and benefits for early childhood education
and care providers and families.
These sessions are for anyone with an interest in improving nutrition and health education for children, including early childhood
education and care providers, cooks, local government, policy makers, regulators and allied health professionals.
